Honeycomb Core - Regent

Regent Doors combines the aesthetic advantage of a beveled lock edge with the rigidity and impact resistance of France Metal honeycomb core construction.
Regent's lock edge is beveled 1/8" (3.2 mm) in 2" (50.8 mm) to produce a tight closure clearance. Face sheets are supported by full honeycomb core to assure exceptionally flat surfaces with high structural resistance to impact damage. Regent accepts cylindrical, mortise and unit locks and is adaptable to other commercial hardware.

Standard Features

1-3/4" (44.5 mm) thick full flush (seamless optional) styles
Available gauges in 18 (1.25 mm) & 16 (1.5 mm) steel face sheets.
Impact resistant, full honeycomb core is sanded-edge. Crush strength is 45 PSI.
Hemmed, smooth finish edges.
Seamless edges available.
Hinge reinforcement gauge 7 (4.8 mm) steel 3/16" plate.
Inverted top and bottom end channels welded to both face sheets for added stiffness.
Optional steel closing caps available.
Optional steel applied or flush welded glazing available.

Gauges 18 or 16 (1.25mm or 2mm): 4'0 (1,219 mm) x 9'0 (2,743 mm) single.
Gauges 18 or 16 (1.25mm or 2mm): 8'0 (2,438 mm) x 9'0 (2,743 mm) pair.
Tested and approved for use Internationally under BS476 Part 22, 1987 (British); for 30, 60, 120, and 240 minutes.
